Learn about the inspiration behind our newest Strawberry print, born from our family's love for strawberry picking, and how it celebrates the bond we share.
Our family loves Spring and one of the activities we look forward to most each year is strawberry picking🍓. For our family, it’s not just a seasonal activity—it’s a tradition filled with laughter, love, and, of course, delicious strawberries.
When Otto was about one, we took him strawberry picking for the first time. He had so much fun—and ate so many strawberries—that he ended up devouring a whole pound of them! That simple moment has stayed with us. The following year, when Evangeline was born, we returned to the same strawberry farm, this time with both of our little ones. It was the beginning of a new chapter for our family, and the joy of that day stays fresh in our hearts.
Our love for berries only grew from there. The boys developed an undeniable passion for berries, so much so that I decided to plant blackberry, blueberry, and raspberry bushes in our garden 🌱. While I’ve had success with those, I’m still trying to figure out how to grow strawberries—despite many attempts each year!🍓
As I thought about how much our family adores berries, it occurred to me that there must be other families out there who share this same love! This thought sparked the creation of our newest print: Strawberries. The design features the same “big and little” theme that runs through many of our prints, but with an extra touch of whimsy—almost like fields of strawberries waiting to be picked.
We hope this print brings as much joy to your family as strawberry picking brings to ours. We can’t wait to create new memories with our boys this year, surrounded by the sweetness of the season and the love we share ❤️.
